The best part about the summertime is that there are so many more opportunities for vacations and exploration. Your kids are out of school for a few months, and more than likely, your boss is going to be lax about you taking some time away from work. You have to take advantage of the wonderful weather and the free time to make memories with the people you love. As you are going on these adventures, keep in mind that the summer opens up a lot of doors for where you can actually stay during your vacation.
Camping. During the winter, camping is totally impossible. It's much too cold, especially if you are taking your young children with you. However, the summer is the perfect time to spend time outdoors for the night. Pack up your tent and gear, and either stay at a campground, or find a nice little place yourself. Your kids will love cooking by the campfire and roasting marshmallows. These will be memories you will never forget.
